Mitsubishi recently launched its upgraded 2005 Pajero. The flagship 3.8-litre V6 Exceed rose $4000 and gained satellite navigation, a DVD player and

17-inch alloy wheels.

However, Sydney Mitsubishi at Glebe has now discounted the auto-only 2004 Pajero Exceed by $13,700 to $49,290 plus on-road costs.

The 2004 Pajero Exceed's mechanical specifications are the same as the newer model.

Standard features include leather trim, four-airbags, climate control air-conditioning, anti-lock brakes with EBD, active stability control and traction control, six-disc CD, cruise control and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Mitsubishi dealers have also sharpened the price of the Mitsubishi Outlander LS automatic, launched last month, by $2500 to $29,990 plus on-road costs.

With a 2.4-litre engine, it comes with dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, air-conditioning, cruise control and keyless entry.
